tecs east London school visits the palace of westminister

Pupils from TCES East London school visit the Houses of Parliament to gain an insight into its history, events, and royal significance.

Our pupils had such a positive and educational experience during their visit to the Houses of Parliament! Exploring the rich history, culture, and political significance of Westminster can indeed be enlightening, and having an engaging tour guide enhances the overall experience.

Pupils learnt about the House of Commons and the House of Lords as well as the Royal History of Britain's Kings and Queens, providing valuable insights into the functioning of the British parliamentary system. It's also great that the tour included interactive elements such as quiz questions, making the experience more enjoyable and interactive for the pupils. As monuments often represent key figures and events in British history, presenting them adds another layer of learning.

The experience was fantastic and a great way to appreciate British history. It is opportunities like these that contribute significantly to the pupils' understanding of the political structure and history of their country.
