Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium? Pupil Premium is additional funding that schools can receive from the Government. This funding helps schools to close the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. Government statistics show the attainment gap has reduced since the introduction of Pupil Premium. The Premium is funding that is given for pupils from low income families, pupils in care, or previously in care and for those pupils who have parents serving in the armed forces
