SEND Summit 2023

Networking & Building Relationships

TCES had a successful and productive experience at the third annual Children and Young People Now SEND Summit on July 4th, 2023. Through the event, practitioners, leaders, SEND families, and guest speakers shared information and built relationships.

There were guest speakers doing talks throughout the day who spoke on a variety of SEND support-related subjects. These included discussions on recognising and supporting those with ADHD, protecting children and young people with SEND needs at school and at home, and encouraging inclusion through anti-bullying initiatives.

TCES had a booth at the event showcasing our offerings for neurodiverse pupils and students. These include solutions for pupils and students in the school, in the community and online. We generated interest and received several signups for our National Online School, it's evident that our solutions resonated with attendees. Promoting our latest webinar held on 6th July and hosting meaningful conversations with parents further solidified our presence within the SEND community and established new relationships.

The team had meaningful conversations with parents and established a new relationship with the SEND family. Expanding our network within the SEND community will undoubtedly help TCES reach more families in need of our services. The summit gave us the platform to share and spread our message about how we can help a child through the challenges they may face. This also provides an opportunity to engage and network with like-minded professionals across the SEND community.

Overall, the event was a resounding success for TCES and many others. Such gatherings are crucial for sharing information, building relationships, and advancing support for individuals with SEND needs. Well done to our members of staff attended, our National Online School Coordinator, Stephanie Lee and our Marketing and Communications Manager, Simon Everest. We look forward to the next SEND summit in 2024!
