Nurture Primary school Shines Bright for Diwali Celebrations

This week, Nurture Primary School was filled with light, colour, and joy as pupils took part in a range of creative and vibrant activities to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights.

In the lead-up to the festival, children across the school immersed themselves in learning about the cultural and religious significance of Diwali, a time celebrated by millions around the world. Through stories, discussions, and hands-on activities, students explored the traditions associated with the festival and reflected on its themes of light overcoming darkness and the triumph of good over evil.

As part of the celebrations, children worked together to create a stunning array of decorations that transformed classrooms and corridors into bright and festive spaces. From colourful paper lanterns and intricately designed rangoli patterns to hand-crafted diyas and festive wall hangings, each decoration reflected the pupils’ creativity and enthusiasm. Pupils enjoyed working together to prepare the school for the celebration, taking pride in seeing their work brighten up the environment for everyone.
