black history month at north west london school

Inspired by the theme of Black History Month, a group of our students at TCES North West London School took part in a special airbrush workshop led by visiting artist Dan. Using photographs as a base, students learned to apply airbrush techniques to explore a wide range of realistic skin tones and subtle shading.

The workshop encouraged students to look closely at detail, develop precision, and appreciate the diversity of complexions and features that make each portrait unique.

In just one session, they produced artwork of remarkable quality, a testament to their focus, creativity, and developing technical skill.

At TCES North West London, we set high expectations for every student, and this display demonstrates what can be achieved when effort, guidance, and ambition come together. These portraits stand as a celebration of talent, determination, and pride in the standard of work our students can achieve.
