Leadership weeek AT TCES NORTH WEST LONDON SCHOOL

As part of Leadership Week, our pupils at TCES North West London School celebrated 'Step Up Day' where they took on a variety of leadership roles throughout the day. From Headteacher to PE, Art, and Food Tech teachers, to leading Maths and English lessons and even supporting pastoral care, our students stepped into a wide range of roles across the school. They planned and delivered their own lessons, gave and received peer feedback, and some even got hands-on with school maintenance tasks. It was inspiring to see our young people embrace these responsibilities with such enthusiasm, creativity, and confidence. Days like this help them build vital skills that will serve them well far beyond the classroom.

Aspiring young leaders at TCES North West London also stepped into the spotlight during Leadership week, as students took turns to present their cases for why they should be selected as the new School Council representatives for 2025/2026. In their pitches to a variety of staff members and one of the parents at TCES North West London School, the students presented their vision for the school, the changes they would like to see, how they would use the TCES community values in their roles and the positive impact they hoped to make if chosen. Some of the roles the students could apply for included President, Vice President, Lead Anti-bullying Mentor and a Sports and Fitness Ambassador. Winners will be announced at the end of this week...

Overall, leadership week is a truly inspiring time to see our young people grow in confidence, develop essential life skills, and find their voice.
