Exams

Our Resilient Learners

In a national landscape where nearly 30% of students don’t achieve a basic pass, TCES pupils, many with SEND and disrupted educational histories are not only passing exams but transforming their relationship with learning. Every success reflects growth, resilience, and the impact of high-quality therapeutic education.

A Diverse and Determined Cohort

Our pupils often join us late in Key Stage 4, having experienced multiple exclusions, long periods out of education, and persistent absence. Many arrive with Emotionally-Based School Anxiety (EBSA), often alongside ASC and SEMH diagnoses. Despite these challenges, they re-engage with learning through our therapeutic, inclusive approach.

Qualifications That Open Doors

We offer a broad suite of qualifications tailored to individual pathways, including:

GCSEs, A-Levels, BTECs, Functional Skills, and Entry-Level Awards, English-Speaking Board, Sports Leadership, Arts Awards, Prince’s Trust, and more.
