School-based Clinical and Therapy Services
Our school based clinical team (CT) works across the TCES Group of Schools to support every aspect of a pupil’s social, emotional, mental health and learning needs. The team works closely with classroom staff who have carried out educational baseline assessments and together IEPs and behaviour support plans are agreed and drawn up which will then be continuously reviewed, monitored and updated.
The team provide targeted assessments to determine the therapeutic and learning needs of the individual pupil. A therapeutic treatment plan is then agreed which can include individual interventions or group work. In addition to the comprehensive assessments and support, the CT provides training to the teaching and inclusion staff to ensure that everyone employed within the TCES Group remains up to date with evidence based practice for pupils who have SEMH or ASC needs.
