Distance Therapy

In our schools and services we holistically support our pupils with our onsite therapies team. Our therapy teams support our pupils to engage in learning, exploring and developing their strengths and talents.

For pupils who are accessing distance learning this journey can continue with accessing distance therapy. Our therapists will be supporting our pupils and their support networks to engage, develop and grow whilst accessing learning virtually. They will also be supporting with proactively managing the challenges and stressing that come with it. Our Therapy teams have provided resources that can be used at home to support with the stress and strains of distance learning and the Covid 19 social situations.

speech and language therapy

Speech and language therapists provide life-changing treatment, support and care for children who have difficulties with communication, or with eating, drinking and swallowing. They support people who have physical or psychological reasons for finding communication difficult.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy, often referred to as OT, provides therapy that focuses on developing, recovering, or maintaining the daily living and learning skills of pupils with physical, mental, or cognitive impairments. Occupational therapists support pupils to engage in all aspects of their life including play, study and work.
