Welcome from the Head

Welcome to the East London Independent School Website!

We hope to guide you in finding out what you need to know about our school and more importantly, that through these pages, you will get a feel of our school and the full understanding of our provision.

Our school's aim is to be a centre of excellence that will provide every pupil with the opportunity to access a well rounded, holistic, child centred curriculum based education.

Our vision is to provide a safe, nurturing environment within which our pupils can flourish and achieve at the highest possible levels academically, socially, morally and emotionally.  We will celebrate the successes and victories of our pupils, instilling in them pride in themselves, their school and their community.

East London Independent School is a small school with provision for up to 91 pupils across our two sites.  This means we are able to provide our pupils with individual attention in small groups.

We hope to develop positive and fruitful relationships with our pupils, families/carers and stakeholders with whom we will be working with to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

Above all, we put the child at the centre of everything we do because in the final analysis, it is all about the child and their life chances.  We are excited about this new journey we have embarked on and we invite you to partner with us every step of the way.

We look forward to working with you and sharing our triumphs, challenges and the progress of our pupils.

Wishing you well always.

Carron Adams

Interim Headteacher
